Stories from some of the amazing mums I’ve worked with . . .

“My baby took three weeks to return to her birth weight, and the weight checks in the meantime were making me anxious that my breastfeeding wasn’t adequate to help her to gain weight. I reached out to Kerry for support and guidance. She did a thorough assessment of my baby’s feeding, including tongue function and latch, and gave advice on how to optimise milk transfer. Most importantly, she recognised how I felt as a new mum and was sensitive and caring. Kerry’s advice gave me confidence when I was riddled with doubt and worry, and I’ve now been breastfeeding for 13 months.

It was clear to both myself and my partner that Kerry is very experienced and knowledgeable about infant feeding, and also has the interpersonal skills to help parents at a very emotional and vulnerable time of their life. We are grateful to Kerry and wouldn’t hesitate to contact her for advice in the future.”

“I was ever so lucky to meet Kerry just before I gave birth to my first child. She has been an invaluable resource for help with all things breastfeeding - from double checking latch to advising on pumping. She has been a knowledgeable and supportive presence in mine and my little boy’s life, following us along our feeding journey and supporting us with all the information we need to do what is right for us.

More recently, she has been so helpful in providing help and guidance now that we are getting ready to wean off the breast. I am always checking in with her when I have any questions and she is always reassuring, non-judgemental and incredibly helpful. Thank you Kerry!”

“Kerry has been an absolute life saver!!! From the very first moment, she brought such warmth, knowledge and reassurance into what had really been a stressful time for me as a new mum. She listened without judgement, offered practical solutions and most importantly made me feel that I wasn’t alone. The guidance that Kerry provided transformed my breastfeeding journey to becoming more confident and empowered. Honestly, I feel like every new mum needs Kerry in their lives to help them build a strong foundation to their feeding journey. Her patience and deep knowledge is unmatched. Endlessly grateful for her support! Thank you Kerry.

“Kerry supported me with a range of positions to latch my baby to help her to feed through tongue tie. She was able to identify the tongue tie and signpost me to have this assessed further and subsequently released. My baby went from hour long feeds where she'd fall asleep still hungry, to done in 10 minutes, which was revolutionary. She helped to keep our breastfeeding journey going through many bumps in the road! Thank you Kerry!”

I can't say this any clearer - Kerry is the woman you want on hand to provide breastfeeding advice!  She has a depth of knowledge from her professional experience as a NICU Speech & Language Therapist and Lactation consultant, and her personal experience as a Mum.

Kerry has an ability to make the abstract make sense and what seems like the impossible, possible when it comes to breastfeeding. She cuts through the noise and makes you feel so at ease with what is such a rollercoaster of a journey. She is non-judgmental and has such a supportive approach. I have breastfeed my two boys for a collective 2+ years and I still find myself thinking of some of the phrases Kerry used "it's a hamburger at 2am, not sushi on a first date". She is so knowledgeable about all things feeding, positioning and flow related and is humorous, grounded and realistic in how she supports your breastfeeding journey.

I was lucky to have Kerry on hand and to have received lots of fantastic teaching from her before and just after my first baby was born that my breastfeeding set off well and I am eternally grateful for the support I received.”
